meet jem!
It is so nice to have you here.
I have a strong appreciation for a good grazing platter and a glass of Amelia Burge Sparkling.
I have an even stronger appreciation for brave, badass business owners who put it all on the line to follow their passion.
But I know it’s not easy, and keeping up your digital presence can feel like full-time job (cue the overwhelm).
Trust me when I say –
Your business deserves so much more than DIY branding, an outdated website and a social media presence that’s struggling, at best.
That’s where I come in…
By harnessing my creative intuition, pairing it with hours of education and years of experience, I create brands to be proud of.
My ultimate goal?
To have you, and your audience, falling head over heels in love.
And so the story goes –
THE BEGINNING…
At 18, I started a jewellery business from my bedroom. This business allowed my creativity to run wild and gave me extra funds for Friday night vinos with my girls. But, soon enough, I succumbed to the pressures of society, got a ‘real job’, and began working the 9-5 (which was more like a 7-10… yikes!)
It was stable and secure, but I struggled to breathe under the weight of the expectation and repetition that comes with corporate.
THE DOWNFALL…
There was something inside of me, pulling me back to my creative roots. Like most, I ignored the niggling until things got bad. Like, really bad.
A shell of my former self, my mental health was on a sharp decline and honestly, I felt like a lost soul. Even my creative drive, which was always my constant, had all but disappeared.
I was in my mid-twenties, in a terrible job and a toxic relationship, and soon enough, I burnt tf out.
THE REINVENTION…
When I finally found the courage to leave the shitty job and the even shittier boyfriend, it felt like I had come up for air.
This was it. This feeling of weightlessness. Of excitement. Of anticipation. It was all I needed to prove that I was meant for more.
I was no longer Jem in finance. I was Jem the creative. Jem the entrepreneur. Jem the business owner. All that was left to make me whole again was to move back to the place I loved most… the Fleurieu Peninsula – the beautiful part of South Australia known for exquisite wine, fresh farmers’ markets and picture-perfect coastlines.
THE NEW BEGINNING
Since starting my first business at 18, my life has come full circle. I’m back where I belong, doing what I’m passionate about, in the place I love most in the world. The best part is, I get to do it all with my business sidekick, who happens to also be my life sidekick (BIG upgrade from the last one, btw).
I finally feel like I’m living my dream.
Now I want to help you live yours.
You deserve more than to settle for the safe and stable option.
I LOVE SUPPORTING LOCAL
The Fleurieu Peninsula is my home; the people are my friends. If you are a local, purpose over profit business and ready to get noticed, then we are your people. Let’s chat over coffee {or wine!} about how No Idea can help elevate your digital presence – and your impact.

the butterfly effect
If we do good, our clients will do good. If they pass on the good, their audience will also do good. The butterfly effect reminds us that with one small gesture, you can change somebody’s life.

Good things coming to good people. We love nothing more than seeing *all the goodness* come to those who deserve it. This is why we created our Scholarship Program… to help good people doing great things.

downtime
Social media is on 24/7 but we like to be on 24/6 here at No Idea. We know that all great things come from a place of rest and rejuvenation, so Sundays are our switch-off day (unless there is an emergency).
